Our December Winter Wedding Editorial in Lisbon, took place in Loures / Bucelas, more or less 20 minutes from the center of Lisbon, in a family Quinta (farm) that has been passing from generation to generation.
Quinta do Casalinho, with its imposing entrance full of fruit trees creating an unusual atmosphere, takes us almost to an enchanted kingdom, where each corner of its garden hides a new surprise and a new charm. Since its owner was an art lover and collector, it is possible to see classic works of art scattered around the gardens.
With an unusual light, Quinta do Casalinho encouraged us to bring our project to life, which was purposely planned for December in the middle of Portuguese winter, something quite unusual to do in this events business .. but we don't like to be common, so we moved forward with it. Helping us to prove exactly what we were already sure of, Portugal is a perfect country to get married at any time of the year.
Bearing in mind a project that combines with the winter season, seeking the best of it, through the classic, the refined, its differentiated nature and keeping in mind that this venue would be the perfect setting to reproduce this dream project, we set up a meeting with one of its owners Tomás Vilar. Where meantime after the meeting we also thought that would make perfect sense for both him and his companion to be part of this Editorial, by participating as our models. Who better than the owner of the venue to reflect his style and profile .. right? Okay .. Perfect Match!
After choosing the colors and a whole concept around what we had in mind, we presented to our models for their approval, after all we wanted the project to portray well the image of these two people and the venue where they spend so much time and have already built so many memories. By wanting to create something real, key elements were introduced, such as their dogs and their cars, immediately creating a climax totally different from a normal photoshoot as there were strong links. Among the vast green spaces, we brought a little bordeaux, dark navy blue, white and old gold to bring that classic look to our scenario.
We created a story that went from the Proposal, made at the Lake House, also located inside this wonderful Quinta, until the Wedding Day. The Lake House as its name says is a small chalet, surrounded by magnificent nature with a balcony facing a wonderful lake. Also available for rent, this space is perfect for both summer and winter where its fireplace makes everything more cozy.
In this way we continue towards a wonderful result, with a perfect atmosphere, perfect light, perfect natural scenery, perfect partners ... everything combined in the best way.
